No, because B.Sc at IGNOU Ahmedabad Regional Centre is not expensive, as the programmes of IGNOU are taken up at a very low cost. The fee of a B.Sc course ranges from 9,000 INR to 22,000 INR. Ahmedabad Regional Centre was established in the year 1988. More than 60 study centres are under its umbrella, providing value education amongst students in all over Gujarat.

The placements are, in general, good at IGNOU Regional Centre Ahmedabad for certificate courses. The Placement Cell has indeed been working with public as well as private sector organizations to ensure better job opportunities for the students. Even though the details of the placement do not provide exact numbers regarding the certificate course, overall support by the placement cell betters the career prospects for the graduates.

Established in 1988, the Ahmedabad Regional Centre is one of the largest and best-equipped regional centres of IGNOU in Gujarat. The centre offers undergraduate, postgraduate, Diploma courses, and a large number of certificate courses. More than 60 study centres are scattered all over the state for catering to the educational needs of the students. The facilities on offer as student support services include a well-stocked library, counseling sessions, and assignment submission facilities, which were excellent.

The application fee for IGNOU certificate courses at the Ahmedabad Regional Centre is INR 300. So, in total, the programme fee to be paid for Certificate in Arabic Language is equal to INR 1,800. The fees will be different for other certificate courses. The student has to deposit the registration fee along with the application form.

In fact, this is almost a general trend in the fee structure for most Certificate courses at IGNOU Regional Centre Ahmedabad: there is both a programme and a registration fee. For instance, a Certificate in Arabic Language would be priced at INR 1,800, plus a registration fee of INR 300. A Certificate in Korean Language and Culture would run INR 2,500, with the same registration fee of INR 300.

It's pretty different in the case of IGNOU Regional Centre, Ahmedabad, where, percentage-wise, for undergraduate courses, it comes around 45%, with an average package being of INR 5 Lacs per year. Some courses, like MSW, which are field-based completely in training, really train one to be more employable for field-based social work.
