The minimum percentage to get into IIFT Kakinada is 60% for the qualifying examination and 60% for the class 10th examination. The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) will accept scores obtained in class 12th and class 10th. The CAT score is not required to get admission at IIFT, Kakinada. One can join IIFT, Kakinada after clearing class 10th also. To be eligible for admission to the college one must have obtained 60% in class 10 and 55% if the candidate is from transgender category. A candidate can also join IIFT Kakinada after clearing the 12th.

IIFT Kakinada is an autonomous public business school that was established in 2018. It is the third campus of IIFT, after IIFT Delhi and Kolkata. Admission to IIFT is based on the IIFT entrance exam or GMAT (for foreign candidates). There is no separate application process for admission.
