I think the answer would differ from people to people. But most importantly you should decide what interests you more. B.Com is like an academic degree after which you have various career options I. e for Masters. B.Com would ACT like a base in your commerce field. And yes you will have to study
Hotel management on the other hand should be pursued only when you want to build your career in Hotel lines. It would be good if your looking for being an entrepreneur and start your own hotel. It would be a good option if you have interests and skills in it. And no you won't have to study much. However in my opinion you can be a good entrepreneur in hotel lines even with a B.Com degree. Therefore in my opinion you should go for a B.Com degree. You will have various options and lines to choose after. Rest all depends on your interest and hard work to be successful. All the Best!

Students aspiring to have a career in the hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, tourism) can pursue hotel management courses after 12th. Hotel management courses admission is either based on merit or entrance exams and requires minimum eligibility of passing class 10th and class 12th exams with 50% aggregate.
AIMA UGAT GNIHM JET NCHMCT JEE AIHMCT are Hotel Management Entrance Exams 2022; the registrations are expected to start from January 2022. Government Hotel Management Colleges accept NCHMCT JEE 2022 scores, which will be conducted in the month of April 2022 (tentatively); Private Hotel Management Colleges conduct their own entrance exams for admission.
