IIIT Allahabad - Indian Institute of Information Technology Admission Process

Admission into PhD courses of IIIT Allahabad is done through different entrance exams like GMAT/CSIR/NET/INSPIRE. The scores of these exams are taken into consideration when the seats are allocated for the course. The additional requirement that the candidates must know is a minimum aggregate of 60% in Masters of the previous relevant course. Any candidate eligible with the above criteria is required to visit the official site of the institution, search for the PhD course interested in and apply for it there. A personal profile along with basic and academic details is required to be created after that. After the submission of forms, application fee is required to be payed. Shortlisting of candidates are done on the basis of the scores. 

IIIT Allahabad offers four programmes: BTech, MTech, MBA, and PhD across four departments, namely Applied Sciences, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Management Sciences. IIIT Allahabad accepts students depending on their admission exam scores. Students are chosen by the institute based on their performance in national exams like JEE Main, CAT, MAT, GATE, XAT, and CMAT, among others. Candidates must attend the counselling sessions in order to be admitted to the BTech and MTech programmes. Hence, for BTech and MTech, respectively, the seat allocation takes place through JoSAA and CCMT counselling. Applicants who are applying to IIIT Allahabad's PhD programme must sit for an interview.
