The eligibility criteria for the M.Tech course at IIIT Allahabad is that the candidate must have a BTech/ MSc in an allied discipline from a recognised university/ institute with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST candidates) or equivalent. The course is available in four main specialisations. The M.Tech specialisations are Information Technology, Data Science and Analytics, Bioinformatics, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Students can apply for the Merit Cum Means scholarship at IIIT Allahabad through the official website. To be eligible for the scholarships, candidates must have a cumulative average of SGPI for two semesters only per year, which should be equal to or above 8.50. Also, the annual income of the candidate should be less than INR 5.00 LPA. Up to 3% of the total students enrolled in the programme will receive this scholarship. Students will receive INR 36,000 per year through this scholarship.
