Yes, students can get into IIIT Guwahati with any percentage in 10th or 12th, there is no specific percentage criteria is mentioned by the authorities to be eligible for GATE exam. IIIT Guwahati released its Last Round cutoff in 2024 across All India and Female categories for CSE and ECE courses. Among both the courses, the most competitive course was Computer Science and Engineering. With a rank of 42904, candidates got admission at IIIT Guwahati in 2024. As per the cutoff trend from previous and current years, it is possible that an increase in the cutoff can assumed to be visible in 2025. In 2023 and 2022, the BTech in CSE cutoff stood at 37074 and 34625, respectively.

Students seeking to apply for the course must fulfil the basic eligibility i.e., Class 12 with relevant subjects and a minimum aggregate of 75% from a recognised board. No, candidates can not get admission into the BTech course without a valid JEE Main score. The institute accepts students for its flagship programme on an entrance basis. It is important that students appear the entrance test and clear the cut-off for the institute. Post the result declaration, students need to register for the counselling process. Selected candidates will be required to report to the admission cell at IIIT Guwahati for document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.
