Admission to this course is based on a GATE score, followed by CCMT counselling. Eligible students seeking admission must qualify for the entrance exam for admission to IIIT Kota. Yes, the selection to IIIT Kota’s BTech programme is based on the candidate’s JEE Main exam score, followed by the centralised counselling process regulated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), through which they are allotted a seat. The seat allotment also depends on the college cutoff and a candidate’s preference for that course and college. JoSAA registrations usually begin in the third week of June in online mode. However, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) manages the counselling process for the remaining vacant seats.
