No, there are no age restrictions for admission to the M.Tech programme at IIIT Kota. Candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as released by the institute for admission which is that candidates must have at least completed their Class 10, Class 12 and a 3-year UG degree. However, those who are in the last year of their UG degree can apply for GATE exam which is the minimum criteria for admission to this college and course.

Around 90% of students got placed from IIIT Kota, which is really great. Students from electronics and communications and computer Science got placed in great companies. As per the official website, the the highest package and average package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 53.6 LPA and INR 14.6 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 181 offers were made and 83.01% placement rate was recorded during IIIT Kota placements 2023. The top recruiters of IIIT Kota in the past years were Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Cvent, Samsung, etc.

Yes, students willing to change their branch of Engineering at IIIT Kota can do so. The institute provides an opportunity to change the branch in the second year but in order to be eligible for the same, students ae required to maintain a CGPA of 8.0 and more in the first two semesters. The application fee for BTech at IIIT Kota through JEE Main official website is INR 1,000 for boys and for girls, it is INR 800. In addition to the application fee, the ttal tuition fee charged by the institute for its four-year BTech programme is INR 6.8 lakh. This tuition fee, however, is sourced from unofficial sources and is for the year 2022-23. Hence, is indicative. Yes, as per IIIT Kota’s admission policy, it accepts JEE Main score for admission to its four-year BTech programme. However, gaining a valid score in JEE Main is not enough for admission to IIIT Kota. Candidates are also required to go through JoSAA counselling or CSAB counselling process to secure a seat in the institute.
