Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 30978 and closing rank was 37906 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Electronics & Communication Engineering in IIIT Nagpur is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

IIIT Nagpur cutoff for BTech admissions is based on JEE Main scores followed by JoSAA Counselling. JoSAA Counselling 2023 has been concluded after the release of Round 6. JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses including B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. As per IIIT Nagpur JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 27288 for General category candidates in All India quota for Computer Science Engineering. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

As per the research done online, a score of 150 in JEE Main can give students a rank close to 43,000. In consideration to that and the closing cutoff of BTech courses for the year 2022, a General category student must not expect a seat in any BTech specialisation at IIIT Nagpur. However, other category students still stand a chance to get into this college.
