Indian Institute of Information Technology Sonepat (IIIT Sonepat) is an Indian Institutes of Information Technology located at Sonipat, Haryana. The academic session of IIIT Sonepat started from its temporary campus at NIT Kurukshetra from year 2014. Right now it is running in Shri Balwant Institute of Technology, GT Road Sonepat. The IIIT Sonepat BTech application process begins with registering on the official website of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Candidates must fill out the JEE Main exam application form and appear for the exam. After the JEE Main results are announced, candidates can participate in the JoSAA counseling process where they can choose IIIT Sonepat as one of their preferred choices for the BTech program. Based on their JEE Main score and choice of college and program, candidates will be allotted seats in the IIIT Sonepat BTech program. The application process is entirely online, and candidates must follow the instructions provided by JoSAA carefully. After seat allotment, candidates must report to the institute and complete the admission formalities, including document verification and payment of fees.

To be eligible for the BTech programme at IIIT Sonepat, candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any technical vocational subject. Additionally, they must have secured a minimum of 75% aggregate marks (or 65% for SC/ST candidates) in the above-mentioned subjects. Candidates must also have qualified for the JEE Main exam with a valid score. However, meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission, as admission is highly competitive and based on the JEE Main score and performance in the JoSAA counseling process.
