Hello! If you're aiming for NITs or IIITs under the OBC-NCL category for a branch like EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), the required percentile in JEE Main can vary slightly each year. Generally, for OBC-NCL candidates, scoring around 85-90 percentile or higher in JEE Main is a good target to secure a seat in NITs or IIITs. However, the exact cutoff depends on factors like the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and seat availability. For EEE, which is a popular branch, the cutoff might be slightly higher. Keep working hard, focus on your preparation, and aim for the best! All the very best!

Hey here, For getting admission in IIIT-Delhi, one will typically require a JEE Main percentile more than 98.5 for general category students, which is equivalent to a score of 220+. Non-Delhi candidates have more cut-offs since there are only seats open to 50% of the intake available.Cut-offs may vary year-wise based on candidature and the number of seats open. So target a rank between 4,000-5,000 to maximize chances.Prepare for well for math, aptitude, and problem-solving sections so as to score well. For general category candidates outside Delhi, the admission to the CSE programme at IIIT-Delhi requires a JEE Main percentile above 98.5. This means a score of 220+, depending on the competition in a particular year. IIIT-Delhi has 50% of its seats reserved for Delhi candidates. So, the competition is more challenging for students from outside Delhi. A higher score will make a huge difference.Focus more on the math and logical reasoning parts of JEE Main to have greater rank. Keep looking at the official website for cut-offs and guidelines from IIIT-Delhi.

For General Category students, popular branches such as CSE require a percentile of 98 and others like ECE or CSAM may require 95-97 percentile. That means the corresponding JEE Main score would be 200-220+ depending upon competition and year, while for lesser competitive programs a slightly lower score would do.Bonus marks by IIIT-Delhi for certain achievements. In order to get into IIIT-Delhi, general category applicants must have minimum qualification in HSC or Class 12. The aggregate percentage for PCM is required to be 70% with an overall of 70% in Class 12.For SC/ST/PwD, it will be 65% both in PCM and overall percentage in Class 12. This eligibility criterion is just for the sake of eligibility, though. Admission largely depends on the JEE Main score and percentile of the applicant.Ensure PCM marks are very good as this is one of the main criteria, besides JEE Main scores.
