Yes, RGUKT (IIIT Basara) is a good college for M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering as many renowned companies like TCS, Mahindra and Mahindra, ADP, Biocon, Amazon, MRF, etc. visits campus for placements in M.Tech CSE.The placement percentage in M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is almost 100%, with top recruiting companies such as Infosys and TCS offering salaries between 9 LPA to 5 LPA. Moreover, few students got the off-campus placement in companies like Amazon with packages of about 34 LPA to 63 LPA.

Yes ofcourse. RGUKT (IIIT Basara) is very well known for its amazing placements. Many companies come to recruit students from RGUKT,   with a majority being IT companies rather than core companies. The highest package recorded so far is 64 LPA in Amazon, while the lowest for core companies is 3 LPA. The average salary falls in the range of 4 to 6 LPA. Students engage in internships annually, and companies often offer higher packages based on internship performance.

You should accept the Electrical branch in NIT Silchar rather than CSE in IIITS as NIT Silchar is way older and has more reputation than IIITs. You should study hard in the 1st year in NIT Silchar as 1st year is common in every department and if you will be able to score more than 9 CGPA then you can apply for branch transfer in CSE. NIT Silchar has a facility of branch transfer in 2nd year so you can go for CSE in 2nd year.

It is improbable that one will be admitted to an NIT or IIIT with a CRL rank of 6.4 Lacs and a SC category rank of 45,000 in JEE Mains, particularly in highly competitive fields like computer Science or electronics. In branches with lesser demand or in more recent or less well-liked NITs or IIITs, you might still have a chance. Your prospects can be improved by taking part in the JoSAA counselling process and thinking about special rounds like CSAB, but you must have backup options, such state engineering colleges or other private universities.

To gain admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), candidates typically need to score above the cutoff, which varies by category. For the general category, the JEE Main cutoff for top NITs in 2024 is approximately 90 percentile, translating to around 93 marks. For Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), a minimum of 200 marks in the JEE Advanced exam is generally required for admission.

Hy aspirant, Gaining admission to prestigious NITs or IIITs may be difficult given their 25,286 SC category rank and 3,91,484 CRL rank. However, there may be seats available at lower-tier NITs or IIITs, particularly in less popular branches. With female-specific quotas, being a female candidate can also be advantageous. For precise cutoffs, consult the most recent JoSAA counseling statistics. Quotas from your home state may help you get into NIT Trichy.

You may be able to get into some NITs or IIITs with a CRL rank of 3.2 Lakh and a SC category rank of 20,000 in JEE Main, especially in less competitive fields or younger institutes. Lower cut-off ranks are frequently the consequence of the reservation for SC applicants. It is necessary to engage in the JOSAA counselling process in order to consider your alternatives. State-level engineering colleges and other federally supported schools that accept JEE Main scores should also be taken into account.

It could be difficult to get into one of the top NITs or IIITs for core subjects like computer Science or electronics with a JEE Main rank of 1.25 Lacs in the General category. In less competitive or more recent NITs or IIITs, you might have a chance, especially in fields like environmental, civil, or mechanical engineering. Seat availability is also determined by the state quota; you may be able to improve your chances by participating in state counselling or qualifying for special categories such as home state quota. Engaging in the JoSAA counselling process is recommended in order to thoroughly consider all of your alternatives.
