Congratulations.
Both Colleges are great, and the decision depends on what do you want afterwards. NIT-Surat has a slight hand over placement. But, honestly Placements depends on student, not on college entirely. See, the college website for the professor's list, their merits and decide. I'm not sure whether you have this information of not IIIT B is an International Institute of IT, unlike all other Indian Institute of IT. It is like a small brother to IIIT-Hyderabad. Being private, it will cost a little (80k more per annum), but in Bangalore, if you want CSE, come to the Silicon Valley itself. Every Professor, Assistant or Associate

Just go for the better IIIT's. VIT stands nowhere compared to the better IIITs. Some of the good IIITs are IIIT Hyderabad, IIIT Delhi, IIIT Allahabad, IIIT Bangalore. VIT is just an overrated university. It is a well-known fact for most of the engineering aspirants that if they do not get any college they will get VIT, Vellore by paying donation. VIT is just a money making university.

Your rank is too high to get a seat in a college. Your chances of getting the college are very little. I suggest you to try in private colleges or drop a year for the preparation of JEE Mains further.

You will get a college on the basis if your AIR in JEE Mains only. For your answer, I am attaching the link. Please insert the AIR in it, not the ST category rank.

IIIT Hyderabad is a private institute run by a private body whose full-form is International Institute of Information and Technology, so it has a distinct mode of admission.
On the other hand, other IIIts are institutes run by the central government whose full-form is Indian Institute of Information Technology.
Therefore, their admission is purely based on JEE Mains score. Hope it helps you.
