According to the EWS rank of 42286 collected from JEE Main, it seems nearly impossible to get entries into any of the top NITs or IIITs for the high branches like Computer Science, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. With a JEE Mains rank of 101278, you can get admission to newer NITs like NIT Agartala, NIT Manipur, NIT Sikkim, or NIT Mizoram. However, you might get less popular branches like civil engineering or instrumentation. Your category (General, OBC, SC, ST) will also affect your chances. Hello Kal, Unfortunately at such a rank of 98500 rank in JEE Mains Entrance exam you cannot get admission into reputed Engineering Institutions like NITs and IITs (specially if you are from general category, as then the chances are nill ).
