It is difficult to predict. Go for JEE Mains counselling or use shiksha's college predictor for references.

BITS-Pilani, VIT University, Manipal University, Thapar University, SRM, BIT are recommended options. You may refer to following link for ranking of top engineering colleges in India: https://www.shiksha.com/top-engineering-colleges-in-india-rankingpage-44-2-0-0-0

It totally depends on your JEE Mains rank and your interested branch. However, if your rank is between 6-11k in general then do prefer IIIT, Allahabad instead of NITs.

Hi,
A JEE Mains score of above 220 and a board percentage of 80% in general category may offer you a seat in NIT or IIIT. There's nothing to worry about, you can just attend the counselling.
All the best.

To get admission in NIT, a candidate must appear for JEE Mains. Unless, you appear for the entrance exam you won't get admission in National Institute of Technology. The eligibility criteria for entrance exam is class 12th with PCM as the subjects.
Apart from IIT and NIT, most colleges in India offer lateral entry for Diploma students. These colleges do reserve some seats for lateral entry students.
All the best.

Hello Subhadip,
The score required to get into NIT or IIIT varies from institute to institute. If you study hard and score reasonably, then you can definitely get admission under OBC quota in one of these institutions.

IIIT, Bhubaneswar is a government college in Orissa, but for lateral entry you have to appear in LEET exam, but if seat is not available then you can't get the lateral entry admission.
