To get a scholarship with the EWS category for NITs and IIITs, ensure you meet the eligibility criteria, including an annual family income of less than 8 Lacs and other specific conditions. During JEE Main admission, select the EWS category and provide the necessary certificate. NITs and IIITs offer fee waivers or reduced fees for EWS students, covering tuition and hostel fees. Additionally, you can apply for government scholarships like the Central Sector Scheme or Post-Matric Scholarships. Some institutes may offer further financial aid based on academic performance. Always check with the college for specific scholarship opportunitie

With a rank of 64,000 in JEE Mains under the general category, admission to the top IIITs will be difficult as their cutoffs are usually on the higher side. Yet, there is a possibility of getting admission to some new or lower-ranked IIITs or other state-level engineering colleges.

Your chances of being admitted to NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs with an 87.20% JEE 67% in your 12th grade exams and 56% in PCM may vary depending on the cutoff and qualifying requirements of the particular institute Your 56% in PCM may raise questions because NITs and IIITs often to require a minimum of 75% in your 12th grade (or the top 20%ile on your board test) for eligibility.Although there is still fierce competition you may have some leeway in the cutoff because you fall under EWS category. Your eligibility will be determined by the particular needs of the institute for the current academic year but you can still apply through the counse

It may be difficult to get accepted into prestigious IIITs or government institutes for key fields like computer Science electrical engineering or mechanical engineering if you are an EWS girl candidate with a JEE Mains CRL rank of 290,000. But you can think about choices like:Government-sponsored Technical Institutes (GFTIs): The threshold for some GFTIs might be lower.State Government Colleges: For EWS applicants in particular several state engineering colleges provide favourable possibilities with state quotas.IIITs: There may still be opportunities at less established or competitive IIITs that provide core branches.

The IIIT UGEE, or International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad Undergraduate Entrance Examination, is the entrance examination held by IIIT Hyderabad to seek admissions to its dual degree courses like B.Tech and MS. It is an annual three-hour computer-based examination. It consists of two components- SUPR, dealing in subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Maths and REAP testing candidates for research aptitude skills and, through their performance in both of these, they are screened by a process of interview before joining.

With an EWS rank of 57997 and a common rank of 377652, getting into a top-tier NIT or IIIT might be challenging, especially for popular branches like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).However, you still have a chance of getting into some NITs or IIITs, particularly for less popular branches or lower-tier institutes. It's important to consider the following factors:1. It all depends on the specific branch one chooses, the goals of the academic courses, the placement records of the college, and, most importantly, campus preferences. IIITDM Kancheepuram specialises in design and manufacturing courses-a niche focus, whereas NITs have a broader reputation, along with established alumni networks. In core branches like Computer Science, some NITs may have more solid placement stats, but, when it comes to innovative and interdisciplinary programs, IIIT Kancheepuram is the best place. The institute to institute rankings, facilities, and industry connections will need to be compared for a well-informed choic

To join IIIT Kancheepuram,  the candidates need to appear for the JEE Main exam and participate in JoSAA/CSAB counseling for BTech. For MTech,  GATE scores are used for qualifying and then short-listing the candidates for counseling based on scores. Keep track of the official notifications and dates related to applying. The website of the institute contains detailed information.

No, you can't get admission to IIIT Lucknow for BTech unless you qualify for JEE Main. For the undergraduate courses, JEE Main is the mandatory entrance exam, and admissions are made through JoSAA counseling based on ranks in JEE Main. But for other courses like M.Tech, MBA, MSc, or PhD, different entrance exams need to be qualified for; for example, GATE, CUET PG, IIT JAM, respectively. Most of the courses in IIIT Lucknow do not allow direct admission without an entrance exam.
