Hello Mahima, you have obtained a very good category rank but your all India ranking is a bit on the lower side. Shiksha has collated all the information available about admissions to possible institutes based on the results of the previous years and have come out with a college protector. I am attaching a link that you will take you to this college predictor which can help you in predicting us to which NIT or I T that you may get based on your performance in JEE Mains examination. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-predictorBest wishes to you.

If 82 is your percentile then to it would be difficult to get NITs and IITs as you belong ot general categorie but if belong to SC/ST then there are chances of geting into new NITs . Try to opt for CSAB round of counselling.Best of luck.

Based on the search results, with a CRL rank of 475749 and OBC PWD category, it is unlikely that you will be able to secure admission to the top-ranked NITs or IITs for B.Tech. However, you can consider NITs that have a lower cut-off rank for your category. Some of the NITs that you can consider are NIT Rourkela, NIT Durgapur, NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy, etc.

Considering the previous year cut off it is quite difficult to get seat in NIT or IIIT with the given rank. Your category rank must be under 8000 to have decent chances of getting seat in an NIT or IIIT. As your rank is above 8000 you may not get seat in NIT or IIIT. However, you may get seat in a college through state counselling. In states like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Uttara Khand, Madhya Pradesh admission in to Engineering courses is based on merit in JEE Main. You can apply for admission in to such colleges if you fulfill the eligibility criteria. The cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeare

With this rank, it is difficult for you to get into any NIT, IIIT, GFTI's. However, I'll suggest you to go for state level counselling and some private colleges there you'll get some advantages too. I would also suggest you to use some college predictors. It will help you in getting ideas of various colleges ccording to your requirements. Also, you can go to the official website of JOSAA and from there you can check the opening and closing rank of all NIT, IIIT or GFTI's including all branches. All the best!
