Candidates are required to apply through the JEE Main and JoSAA for admission to the BTech programme. Yes, JoSAA has released dates for BTech counselling for admission to IIIT Trichy. The JoSAA 2024 registration process will tentatively start on June 10, 2024. Candidates will have to go through six rounds of JoSAA counselling. Candidates must regularly check the official JoSAA website for the latest updates and announcements regarding the 2024 counselling schedule. Yes, JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to IIIT Trichy BTech programme are out now. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions are announced in the notification. First of all candidates willing to apply for IIIT Trichy must clear the eligibility criteria as per the the admission guidelines of the institution i.e. Twelve years of School education with minimum 75% for BTech and Bachelor's Degree with 60% aggregate for the MTech/MSc programme. Additionally, candidates must qualify the entrance exam as per the courses requirement. The eligible candidates are now qualified for applying, they can fill the online application form of the institution and follow all the admission process.

The Application process is completely online at IIIT Trichy. For the BTech, and M.Tech programme, candidates have to apply through their respective exams except for Ph.D., where candidates are required to apply through the institution's official website. PhD admissions are based on merit and personal interview. Eligible candidates will be called for an interview and/or test. To be eligible for a PhD at IIIT Trichy, candidates must have a master's degree in a relevant field with 60% aggregate marks.

To apply for the BTech programme at IIIT Trichy, candidates must use JEE Main as the application platform. The application process for JEE Main 2025 comprises three stages, which include registration, form filling & document uploading, and payment of the application fee. Also Candidates must go through the JoSAA counselling process by registering from the official website.

IIIT Trichy offers two specialisations for MTech; Computer Science & Engineering and VLSI Systems. For admission to the MTech programme, candidate's IIIT Trichy MTech programme candidates must have bachelor's degree with 60% aggregate. Also candidates must have a valid score in the GATE exam and go through the CCMT counselling. Additionally, candidates have to complete the entire admission process as per the Institution's admission guidelines.

IIIT Trichy doesn't offer free admission. Candidates must pay the course specific tuition fee for admission to the offered programme. However, candidates who have successfully admitted in the institution can opt for the central/government scholarship accepted by IIIT Trichy. Candidates willing to get admission at IIIT Trichy must have a valid score in various national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, GATE, UGC NET, and CSIR NET, followed by counseling for respective courses.
