Of all the branches, CSE recorded the highest number of offers ad the highest average package during the 2023 placements. The second in the sequence was the ECE branch. IIITDM Kancheepuram seat intake for MDes programme is 20 seats, which is the least in comparison to the other UG And PG programme offered by the Insitution. The seats are offered entrance-based and depends on candidates' performance in the Common Entrance Exam for Design, popularly known as CEED, conducted by IIT Bombay. In the case of candidates having valid CEED scores, a category-wise merit list is prepared based on CEED scores.

Yes, Admissiobn dates are out for MDes at IIITDM Kancheepuram. Admission to the MDes programme is completely entrance-based and depends on candidates' performance in the Common Entrance Exam for Design, popularly known as CEED, conducted by IIT Bombay. Registration for CEED started on October 6, 2024, and will close on November 6, 2024.
