Class 10th and 12th % doesn't matter for getting into IIM. But they maybe considered during placement. But thats ok in your case. It shows that you have uplifted your standard from 10th to 12th and then maintained it in your UG degree. You'll have to appear for CAT exam. Requirement is minimum 50% in any UG degree, you are far ahead. Performing well will help you keep a high percentile and you may get the call from any of the IIMs you were waiting for. All the best !!

Finances should not deter you from joining IIMA. It literally takes 15 minutes to get an education loan on the admission day in IIMA. IIMA ensures that no candidate has to drop because of financial reasons. There are several scholarships as well to support students who can not finance their studies. And also all the best general management roles come to hire from IIMA. Needless to say, IIMA will provide you THE BEST platform to pursue general management role post MBA.

No, I am afraid you can't. IIMs have a cut off of 60% in graduation. However if you secure a rank of under 100 in CAT, you will receive a few calls from IIMs.

Not at all. If you get selected for an MBA by the professors of the college, you can be assured that they are sure that you can do justice to the academics while you are studying in that college. If they think otherwise, they will not select you. In my experience students from all specialization join business schools. Hence there is nothing to worry about. If you can crack the entrance examination, you can ace the subjects of MBA.

If you are talking about current market scenario, then be assured that almost all specializations are doing well. The market is good for good professionals and good students. Hence I would suggest that you pick your specialization based on your strength and your interest.

Yes, everyone is eligible to do an MBA. IIMs or any other business school doesn't discriminate students based on educational background. On the contrary, they promote diversity and in the process provide some relaxation to students with non traditional backgrounds. In my personal experience, I have seen a lot of doctors, CA, science graduates doing an MBA.

You need to have scored at least 60% in class 10th, 12th and graduation and should have completed your graduation from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational
institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act,
1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
Fees for IIMs vary from college to college, but it ranges from 18-20 lakhs for two years course.

No you would probably not. The percentage cutoff for class 10th and 12th for IIMA is 60%. However if you secure an all India rank under 100, you might receive calls from few IIMs.

Yes, Mathematics is a necessary subject as CAT has one section dedicated to Mathematics. Also half the courses that are being taught in IIMs are maths based. However being a commerce graduate you are not at all in a disadvantaged position. There are a lot of commerce graduates studying in IIMA. They don't actually cover advanced mathematics like calculus.
