There are multiple scholarships that are offered. Some are need-based scholarships and some are academic and overall performance-based. All of this does give some relaxation but it doesn't make the course itself free. You can get an education loan easily if you get into IIM Ahmedabad from any bank and given the 100% placement record, you'll get a high paying job by which you can repay it back. Rest of the information will be provided once you join the campus.

Try to score as high as possible in CAT if you really want to do an MBA. That should be the first step. It is not impossible but would be difficult considering 12th and graduation marks. But if an MBA is the way ahead, first focus on CAT and leave this aside.

As of now, just be consistent in your efforts and try to score as high as possible in CAT. That should be your prime focus. Interview and selection should be a secondary concern to you but I will mention a few insights.
10th and 12th marks are of concern but if you get the interview call, prepare well for it. You must showcase some achievements apart from academics and must have full knowledge about it as they will ask you in detail about it. Apart from that, do maintain polite behavior as there are people from the Organisational Behaviour area taking the interview. Make sure your answers are logical and have proof or fact attached to

A lot depends on graduation specialisation. Class 10th marks are of concern. If you get the interview call, prepare well for it. You must showcase some achievements apart from academics and must have full knowledge about it as they will ask you in detail about it. Apart from that do maintain polite behaviour as there are people from the Organisational Behaviour area taking the interview. Make sure your answers are logical and have proof or fact attached to it. I think with this you can definitely crack any IIM.
But before that, try to score as high as possible and consistency of practicing all 3 sections daily is the key to that

The chances are high and all depends on your CAT percentile and most importantly Personal Interview. Try to present yourself as a diplomatic and logical person with passion in some creative thing. You must know in-depth about your areas of interests. You'll crack it with this level of preparation.

The admissions in IIMs are based on percentile obtained in Common Admission test (A Management Entrance Test). The academic performance, Group discussion, Personal Interview, Work experience and Extra curricular activities are the other parameters considered in selection of the candidates. For admission point of view you have to obtain at lest 98 percentile in CAT exam. While the minimum cutoff is above 80 percentile. In academic performance, the marks are given according to the percentage obtained in class 10th, class 12th and in graduation. Hence, you are not getting the full marks for your academic performance.

Hi,
Those candidates who appeared in CAT, they all must have done their Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (for general category) and 45 percent marks (for SC, ST, and PWD category) or equivalent CGPA for recognized university. Those candidates who are pursuing their final year bachelor's degree also applied for CAT. It is important to know that the independent admission criteria of each IIM to mandate their own eligibility including CAT 2019 score, past academic performance, academic cut-offs, work experience etc.
Good luck.
