The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) in Kottayam offers merit-based admissions. The Kottayam campus has a placement rate of over 80% for its PG Diploma students. In the past, students from the Kottayam campus have topped IIMC's all India rank list in English Journalism.
