Currently, the PG Diploma programme at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Aizawl (IIMC) is provide with two specialisations. Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Dhenkanal is instrumental in providing good and quality education in terms of mass communication in eastern parts of India. LIFE AT IIMC DHENKANAL IS EXPERIENCE ITSELF! The campus is beautiful and surrounded by hills and forests. It rains almost every month especially during the period of August-October. Educational culture is good. You'll get people with same interests as yours. The placement record of the college is also good. The beauty of tank top from IIMC Dhenkanal is irresistible, it gives view of whole town.

Tuition fees for post graduate Diploma course in journalism (English and Hindi) is around 87,000 INR exclusing library and student welfare fees. The grand total comes to be around 96,000 INR. For PGD course of journalism in native languages like Marathi, Odia, Urdu, Malayalam, The tuition fees is 47,000 INR. Grand total is around 56,000 INR. Hostel fees are not included in above grand total. Hostel fees is around 40,000 INR. The fees seems to be very high but it is affordable when compared to other private colleges in terms of mass communication.

IIMC Dhenkanal and IIMC Kottayam both are reputable institutions for mass communication education. It is difficult to compare these institute as both are good in their own domain. However, here are few differences between the two:PLACEMENTS: IIMC Dhenkanal is known for its strong placement records, with almost 70 to 80 percent students being placed every year from the institute. CAMPUS: IIMC Kottayam has a permanent campus which is working on initiating new short term courses for mass communication. It might be difficult to compare PG Diploma programs offered by different universities because of a variety of criteria, including the faculty, the curriculum, industry links, and your individual professional ambitions.A postgraduate degree is offered by AJK MCRC, whereas a Diploma is offered by IIMC. While the curricula of Jamia and IIMC may be comparable, it is important to distinguish between Mass Communication at Jamia, which is a more older and esteemed course, and Journalism at Jamia.

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Dhenkanal does not offer any undergraduate courses. The institute offers postgraduate diploma courses in English and Odia Journalism. However, the tuition fees for postgraduate diploma courses in journalism (English and Hindi) at IIMC Dhenkanal are around 87,000 INR, excluding library and student welfare fees.The total fee for the PG Diploma in English Journalism is INR 95,500, and for the PG Diploma in Odia Journalism, it is INR 55,500.

IIMC Dhenkanal accepts the following entrance exam scores for admission to its PG Diploma courses:IIMC Entrance Exam: For both specializations, English Journalism and Odia Journalism, the IIMC Entrance Exam is the accepted entrance exam.The eligibility criteria for these courses are as follows:Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.There is no age limit for admission to IIMC courses.Candidates must be citizens of India.The selection process for PG Diploma courses at IIMC Dhenkanal is based on merit and preference given by the candidate.
