No IIM provides MBA degree. It will only provide you with a PGDM degree. The selection criteria depend on your CAT and MAT score card.

MBA at IPM & IIM is a post-graduate course. One needs to first complete graduation & then appear for CAT.
One needs to score minimum 50% marks at the graduation level and to get into IIMs one needs to score 98+ percentile marks in CAT (Common Admission Test).

Hello Kapil,
Unfortunately, your score is too low for IIMs.
You need to score somewhere near 95 percentile to get into an IIM if you belong to general category.
Good luck!

Hi Akhil,
Technically yes, you are eligible to get shortlisted for IIMs. But you need to score a really high percentile in CAT. If you have work experience it would boost up your chances. Usually IIMs look for candidates having very good academic records. However, these are secondary. Don't worry and give your best in the CAT exam. Good luck!

Hey,
Jimmi. Can you be more clear?
The percentage at which level and for what scholarship?
There are many scholarships around there. To get admission into IIM, the process is very clear and separate for that of scholarship. You have to apply for scholarships separately.

Generally 50% is required to apply for IIM or CAT. But greater than 80 percentage is better.
