Considering the last two year ranking trends for Management category courses at IIM Kozhikode by one of the top ranking bodies "NIRF", a gradual increment in the position can be seen. Earlier in the year 2022, IIM Kozhikode was positioned on rank 5 but this trend has been improved and the institute has managed to secure the top position. Now as per the latets NIRF report for the year 2023, IIM Kozhikode has come under the top 3 Management institute in India.

For admission to E-MBA course at IIM Kozhikode, candidate must fulfil the minimum educational requirements. To be eligible for this course, aspirants must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate. Further, candidates who do not have any UG degree must pass CA/ICWA/CS with minimum 50% aggregate in order to apply for the programme. Apart from this, students are granted admission based on EMAT score, followed by a personal interview.
