The application process for IIM Lucknow PGP courses takes place via CAT. Therefore, candidates need to visit the official website of CAT to register themselves. For other courses, however, the application process takes place via the official website of IIM Lucknow. After the successful submission of the application form, students need to appear for the Written Ability Test and Personal Interview (WAT-PI) rounds. Admission 2024 to MBA courses of all IIMs, including IIM Lucknow is through CAT cutoff 2023. The admission to IIM Lucknow is a two-step process, the first process is based on the CAT qualifying cutoff 2023 and the second one is WAT and PI is based on final cutoff. IIM Lucknow, along with all the other IIMs, considers both sectional and overall CAT cutoff for admission to its MBA/ PGP course. For IIM Lucknow MBA admission, students need to meet both the overall CAT cut off percentile and the sectional cut offs. Candidates seeking admission to IIM Lucknow must score above the 90 percentile in CAT exam.

IIM Lucknow admission 2024 for the PGP batch of 2025-27 is based on CAT cutoff 2024, which is yet to be conducted. It is compulsory for students to meet both the sectional and overall cutoff. The IIM Lucknow cutoff, qualifying sectional cutoffs for PGP for General category candidates can be 85 each and the overall percentile requirement - 90. For final admission, the final cutoff for IIM Lucknow is much higher than the sectional cutoff and overall cutoff and generally may lie between 97 and 98. Candidates seeking admission to IIM Lucknow must appear for CAT and aim for the required qualifying scores.
