Level of GD will depend on the students who will be along with you in your group, better points and remarks you make better will be GD. Chance of selection depend on how you perform there and also on your PI.

Candidates with a great CAT score (95+ percentile) and excellent performance in the interview rounds can get admission in an institute like IIM Trichy. The level of difficulty entirely lies in the number of efforts taken to prepare for the exam and interviews. Interested candidates can apply by visting the offcial website. Also, candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for IIM Trichy admissions.

Hi, IIM Shillong was recently in news for giving 100% placement to their the largest batch of 177 students, Average placement package in 2019 has shot UPAT Rs.16.79 Lacs from Rs.15.5 Lacs last year and the highest salary offered in placement 2019 has gone UPAT Rs.28 Lacs from Rs. 26 Lacs last year. So I don't think placement Will be an issue for you.

If you are sincere, serious and honest in your preparation - then 3 months preparation is enough. Otherwise 1 year of preparation should help.

Yes, you can give CAT 2019. Although, chances of cracking it are less, you will get an idea of the outlay of the exam, and it will help you if you want to give CAT 2020.
