Hi Shahid,
If you are sincere, serious and honest in your preparation - then 3 months preparation is enough. Otherwise 1 year of preparation should help.

Hello,
The following steps would fulfil your dream of pursuing MBA from an IIM:-
1. Fill the CAT application form in time (forms are released in August).
2. Prepare really well for the CAT exam.
3. Score high in it, preferably 99+ percentile to get an interview call.
4. Perform really well in those interviews to enhance your chances of getting final admission. Good luck.

BBA is a course which you can study in any normal college. But, MBA in IIM is taken through CAT entrance exam which is really tough and checks candidate ability and skills. It doesn't matter from which stream you are coming as engineering students also do well in it. So, I don't think there is any plus point if you are doing BBA before MBA for IIM and also BBA is not compulsory as you need to pass graduation. So BBA may worth it but you need to have to do preparation for it as many students compete for it.

Hi, as per my knowledge I do not think Iims give any scholarship except for extremely extraordinary candidates. So if you can get into IIM, you may take bank loans as banks will easily give a loan if you crack any of the IIM. And once you pass out you will definitely have a good in hand package to pay off your loans.

If you have not received any call from an applied IIM, it's better to apply to other IIMs. The more IIMs you apply to, the more chances of getting selected in any one of them.
