Hi Devesh,
To answer your question, the colleges have different shortlisting criteria. Some colleges focus on decent academic background while some focuses on CAT score. So, no need to worry about your graduation percentage. Just focus on doing very well in CAT, and I can assure you that you'll get calls from IIMS.

For getting a call from IIMS, you would be required to have your CAT score above 95 percentile. The best IIMS, call students when they have their percentile above 90% or 95%. You have a good academic background, so you just need to score your best in CAT rest there is a fair chance that you will get in. All the best.

The cutoff of CAT 2018 refers to the minimum marks or percentile a test taker must obtain in order to qualify for the next round of selection process. IIMS and other participating institutes will release the CAT cutoff 2018 to shortlist the candidates for the selection procedure. CAT will be conducted by IIM Calcutta on November 25, the result will be announced in the second week of January. The minimum requirement is 50 percent in your graduation. You need to qualify in the entrance exam of CAT or GMAT. after qualifying that you need to qualify in their personal interview round.
With 6.5 CGPA, you are certainly eligible to apply for this program.

Refer to the CAT preparation books available like Arihant and Pearson Publications (for all the sections). Keep revising the important concepts and logics you come across. At this time taking test series is important, more you get the practice of CAT like exam more helpful it will be.

Taxila offers a minimum placement of INR. 12 lacs for the students pursuing PGDM with SAP. The placements are usually done 6 months before the course ends and the students are allowed immediate joining.
