You have good chances of getting into the old IIMs as you have a great academic record. You have to score 95 percentile (overall) and has to get more than 90 percentile in each section to clear the cut-offs. You can also check it on Shiksha's IIM call checker.

Hi,
No, clearing the minimum criteria doesn't guarantee a call. It depends on one's overall profile, 10th, 12th marks, work experience, etc.

Sure you can do. A B.Tech degree generally takes 4 years to complete but if you have a very good profile which most of the IIMs look for and you score the required percentile in CAT exam then surely you can study in an IIM.

Hello,
You are having good score in your education. IIMs consider 5 to 10% weightage from your previous education score so you need to prepare well for CAT exam to get IIM. According to last cut-off, you need to score above 90.

If you want to study in IIM, then you have to appear in CAT exam which conducted in November in which you have to score good percentile.

There is no chance to get into IIMs or FMS. You need to score minimum of 92% and more in CAT examination.
