You can take IPMAT exam after class 12th for IIM-Indore or complete the graduation from any university and start preparing for CAT exam from day one of graduation with full concentration.

Both the exams have different requirements, think about your background and which exam is suitable for you because in UPSC exam, you have a deep knowledge of one subject with at least good knowledge of all the subjects.

You should go for CAT examination because IIMs require CAT score for admissions.
