Generally 50% is required to apply for IIM or CAT. But greater than 80 percentage is better.

According to my knowledge your graduation marks and CAT percentiles are depend for IIMs call but if you want 80 to 90 percent's are good and enough for a good B-school or IIM college.

Hi, IIMs doesn't offer free seats. If you can try for scholarship then you might get concession on the fees.

Dear Anshul,
When you speak about IIM then definitely it will be a respectful and rewarding career. As far as your package is concerned, I personally believe that you should first complete your graduation. Keep your scorecard excellent in the entire process. It is because your excellent scorecard will keep you ahead of others. The package actually depends on your negotiating capability with the employer at the time of interview. So, first be focused on your studies. I hope this would suffice. All the best and God bless you.

Hi,
It is generally 80-85 percentile for top 5 IIMS. For other IIMs you have cutoff at 70-80 percentile.

Hi,
IIMs prefer CAT marks. So give CAT and score above 90% aggregate, definitely you will be having a fair chance.

With your scores, you need to perform exceedingly well in CAT. You need to score 99+ percentile over all and 95+ percentile in the sections individually.

There is no job security in private sector if you pass out from IIMs also but you may get job easily as you have skills and abilities to prove yourself. Also if you are hard and smart working then no company will terminate you. Your job security is in your hands.
