For an OBC candidate, you need to get 82 to 92 percentile to get admission in a good B-school. Your performance in group and personal interview matter a lot.
All the best.

IIMA does not offer MBA in IT. However, students can choose elective subjects from Information Systems to get expertise in IT.

It will be very difficult for you to get admission in IIM as you have scored low marks in class 12th. You will need to score around 98 percentile to have any chance.

Hi R Susindhar,
Thank you for your query.
To get admission in IIM, you need to appear for CAT entrance exam and score a high percentile (95-99) after that you will get a call from different IIMs depending on the cut-off. After that, you will have to go through GD-PI for the final selection.
Thank you.
All the best.

90% are engineering students and have high chances for admissions. Although, it just depends on how you perform in GDPI round irrespective of your background qualifications.

A minimum of 80 percentile is required to get a call from all IIMs except IIM-Ahmedabad where the cutoff for OBC goes down to 65 percentile as well. For the general category, you need more than 99.5 percentile.
