If you want to pursue MBA from IIM, then you need to have a very strong profile. This includes a good past academic record, work experience and extra-curricular activities. You also need above 95 percentile in CAT to get a call from IIMs.

Different colleges have different fee structure. Specify the college first. For doing MBA in any college you will need minimum 2.5 lakhs.

Yes, they accept GMAT scores only when you are not a citizen of INDIA. If you have done your schooling and graduation from India then you need to appear for CAT exam. If you have stayed outside of India then you can get admission in the same through GMAT.

IIMs don't offer part-time MBA. They do offer EMBA. You can only pursue full-time PGDM courses from IIMs. To get admission in IIM, you need to score more than 99 percentile in CAT exam.

Work experience should be in-line with what you have chosen to pursue in future for MBA. If you have keen interest in marketing then a work-ex in sales/market research/market analyst is fine. Similar is the situation for other steams.
