To get admission in legacy IIMs is quite tougher in comparison to public sector Banks PO examination as competition is very high for legacy IIMs. But, toughness and competition will be similar for new IIMs and PO examination.

It depends on your preparation and interest. If you are interested in IIM and well prepared, it is easy but CAT is comparatively tougher than Bank PO.

Hi Vennela,
It depends on your category. If you belong to general category 99.8+ would be enough to sail through. However, Percentile is not the only criteria to get an admission but it is the first step. Interviewers judge your personality traits and gauge your capabilities in the interview before making you a final offer.
All the best

Life is different here at NMIMS than IIMs. There are a few reasons for this
1. IIMs are a campus college whereas we aren't so that makes life a bit different, we work quiet a lot till 8 or 9 PM but beyond that we have to do all the stuff at home. Whereas at IIMs there are lectures scheduled post 10
pm also.
2. Mumbai factor. This is something that NMIMS leverages a lot. Everyday you will find some or the other guest lecture scheduled as it is convenient for the corporates to visit us. Such exposure builds relationships and makes you ready for the corporate world in a better way.

There is no relation to a graduation degree and his/her salary after MBA. You can earn the highest package, if you are good enough. However, the average package of top 5 IIM's are around Rs.15 lakhs to Rs.20 lakhs.
Good luck.
