Your academic scores are good but in order to get placed in top B-schools you need to take up entrance exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, etc.

Yes you are equally eligible. There is nothing like pre-cutoff for writing CAT. Once you get percentile score and depending upon your past achievements the call has to be made whose weightage differs for different IIMs.

No, IIMs give high weightage to class 10th and 12th marks. Some IIMs demand the class 10th and 12th marks to be 70 percent of entrance exam score. You need to qualify CAT exam with good score to get an admission call from IIMs, but your admission depends on the GD-PI round.

Firstly, be positive. Suppose, you don't get admission in any of the IIMs, then apply for other top B-schools such as FMS, MDI, IIFT, XLRI,TISS, IMT, SPJAIN, JBIMS,etc.

Dear Kapil,
IIM doesn't provide scholarship but concerned government can pay to you or bank loans will be considered. While sanctioning the loans, banks will consider your past academic profile. All the best.

You should have minimum 50% aggregate in your graduation. If you will be eligible, then your class 10th and 12th marks will also be considered while taking admission into any IIM.
