Yes, it is true but there are other colleges as well which offers you attractive salary packages apart from IIM.

Hi Yash,
You may opt for the five year integrated programme after 12th. The selection process is rigorous and very competitive. In addition, you must clear an entrance exam followed by a personal interview. Please refer to the IIM Indore page for details:

Apart from IIMs to get admission into top 50 B Schools, one needs to have at least 90 percentile or above. Then only there are some chances of getting in these reputed institutes. IIMs are almost closed at 97 percentile and after other colleges go up to 90 percentile. It also depends on your graduation, 10th and 12th scores.
