You seem to be on the average side for an ST candidate. Given your performance, I would guess the range to be between 90 percentile to 97 percentile. To be on the safer side, you should aim for higher percentile 99.99. Please note that the cutoffs change every year and it is impossible to guess the cutoff. Hence put in your best foot forward.

Ligibility Criteria
Admission Requirement
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications to apply for IIMA's Doctoral Programme:
a)A Masters Degree in any discipline, with at least 55 percent marks, with a Bachelors degree/ equivalent qualification with at-least 50 percent marks obtained after a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.

To get admission in IIM or any other top ranked B School will depend on your score in your score of concerned entrance examination like CAT or MAT instead of your graduation marks so just concentrate on to crack entrance exam with a good score. All the best.

In my opinion, MBA from top B-schools or IIMs is better than CA. You can get handsome salary as well as you will be appointed as Executive Manager of big companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Google, etc and so on. It's also prestigious.

No, you will not get any exemption from CAT. For all candidates aspiring to be join IIM, CAT is a must.

Great determination and Self Belief. You shall join classes like TIME,CPLC, IMS, CATKING. Put 10hours a day daily and give basic mock exams for weekends. After 6months you may start giving full fledged mock test on entire syllabus, and rectify your mistakes and focus on your weaknesses. Cheers.

Common Admission Test (CAT) is national-level management entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM).
