Yes, it is necessary to meet the sectional as well as overall cut-off to get shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) round for final seat allotment to the MBA programme at IIM Sirmaur. Candidates willing to take admission to the MBA programme at IIM Sirmaur must have an overall and sectional percentile above 90 in their CAT exam. For IIM Udaipur Executive MBA programme, the overall qualifying cutoff for General category students is 92 percentile. The cutoff varies with different categories. For EWS the total perrcentile is 70 and for NC-OBC its 74. Further, 40 is the total percentile for ST and DAP. Comparing the total cutoff percentile of IIM Udaipur with IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore its more, which indicates getting into IIM Udaipur is easier than the two IIM's. For preparing IIM Udaipur final merit list, 60% weightage is given to CAT score, 15% weightage is given to PI score & 25% weightage is given to Profile

Candidates who wants to apply for MBA in IIM Udaipur must appear for the CAT exam as it is the main components for the admission procedure. An exception can be made for the other MBA one year programme, where exams other than CAT like GMAT and GRE is applicable. So, yes candidates can apply for MBA programme without giving CAT exam.

IIM Trichy admission to the management course is based on CAT scores, followed by WAT, GD & PI porcess. IIM Trichy accepts both qualifying CAT cutoff and final CAT cutoff for admission. However, the institute do not release CAT cutoffs in the public domain and are exclusively accessible only via account login to candidates who have appeared for the exam. Considering the previous year cutoff trends, the estimated CAT 2023 cut off percentiles for IIM Trichy will range between 94 and 95 for the General category students. The cutoffs are exclusively accessible only via account login to candidates who have appeared for the CAT exam. To check IIM Trichy CAT cutoff 2023, candidates must visit the official website of IIMCAT and login through their registered ID and password. CAT 2023 registration has closed. The last date to apply for CAT 2023 exam was Sep 21. Further, CAT exam 2023 is expected to be held on Nov 26.

The qualifying CAT cutoff of IIM Trichy is the minimum percentile that candidates must meet to be eligible for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) round while the final CAT cutoff is the percentile that candidates must obtain to participate in the WAT/GD-PI round. The former is released with the admission criteria of the institute before the CAT exam while the latter is released after the declaration of CAT result. Also, the final CAT cutoff is always higher than the qualifying cutoff.
