They will surely consider a candidate to read when they from IIM if you are MBA already promised University 7 years of work experience it doesn't matter but ps for sure you be answerable to many things as it's a lot of experience of 7 years and you are always so your age factor can be a problem as I am prefer the freshers or people who have only experience of 2 to 3 years.

No, IIM does not accept ATMA test scores for admission. If you want to get admission to the IIM, you will have to appear in the CAT exam. With the score of the ATMA test, you can get admission to more than 700 colleges. You can get admission to the following top management colleges:
1. The Xavier Institute of Management and Research
2. PSG College of Technology
3. RV Institute of Management
4. The Jayawantrao Sawant Institute of Management and Research
5. The KV Institute of Management and Information Studies (KVIMIS)
You can also apply to the Department of Management Sciences at Pune University with the score of the ATMA test.

To get selected for IIM, the basic criteria is to qualify for the CAT exam. You need to have more than a 90 percentile in CAT to get admission to the top Iims. Fresh graduates usually think that experienced applicants have an edge during the selection process. This is not true; if you have skills, you can get admission to any top IIM, irrespective of background. The following qualities can help you get selected for Iims:
1. Decent academic record
2. Good performance in written ability test
3. Effective communication skills for the Personal Interview round
4. Mastery of your graduate subject.
5. Effective presentation skills.

No, having backlogs in graduation will not affect your chances of getting into an IIM if you scored well in the CAT. The basic requirement for admission to IIM is a qualifying CAT score with a high percentile. If you obtained a CAT score of more than 95 percentile, your backlogs will not affect your chances of admission to Iims. Some Iims do not consider your academic score in admission if you have a minimum 50 percent score in graduation.
