There are some key parameters that we should keep in mind before choosing any University, like, faculty, placements, international exposure, curriculum, alumni of that university. MBA is somewhat a higher and reputed degree which will open the door for lucrative jobs in the corporate world. Though the charm of MBA has not decreased, the management institutions are rampant especially in Cities. The point is that pursuing MBA has become easy than it was a decade ago. HELLO, No, you don't have to apply separately for IIMs after giving their CAT entrance exam. Because all IIM conduct their common test and on the basis of rank the college is alloted to students
During CAT exam registration, there will be one section where you have to choose the Iims and programs you are interested in make a wise choice and select maximum option so that you have more chance to get enrolled and selected. Hope you find the answer useful

Your academic background is good enough for getting top IIMs. However, performance in CAT and PI played major roles in selection.

Yes, you have to apply for the CAT form again from the beginning even if you have registered last year also. Since exam score is valid for only one year.

You can do BBA before appearing for CAT because BBA is the course in which you can get every information and knowledge about various subjects, it is not only 2,3 subject based course, it has several subjects.

No, it does not have any affect on your admission for MBA in any IIM college. Although, there are some points that you should be aware of. You would be able to change your university only if your university allows transferring of credits i.e. when you go to another university, your credits from 1st year will be transferred to your new university. You should get a confirmation from both the universities regarding the transfer, and only then you should leave. You should have cleared your 1st year to be eligible to get a admission in 2nd year in another university

All the underprivileged Scheduled Castes students can apply for the Freeship cards. The Free Ship Cards are issued to Scheduled Caste students who are eligible as per all the criteria as per Government of India's Post Matric Scholarship Scheme.
