NO, There is no relation between the reputation of your undergrad college and your admission to IIM. All that they depend thereon selection criteria is upon CAT percentile.

Choosing MBA is a good decision. It is very true that fees are high for completing a 2-year MBA course. But doing MBA will teach you a lot about life. You will be getting great exposure to the work environment. You will get to learn about new things both theoretical and practical. The returns would also be good for you if you get placed in a good company. I would suggest you choose your college wisely. Enquire about fees, the internship provided, placement opportunities, and additional courses offered if any.
