See, unlike JEE and NEET, this entrance tests your personality and creativity more. If you are really interested in getting admission in IIMC next year then start these things right away. Start reading any National newspaperKeep a tab on events of national and international importanceTry to discuss the current affairs with your friends and try to understand their perspective on different topics.Start writing. I can't emphasize this enough. This is very important. Try to write at least 2 articles for now and increase it to 4–5 per day. You will feel the change, believe me.Talk to yourself. The CUET-PG 'Mass Communication and Journalism' paper (paper code - COQP17) is meant for all mass comm entrance (of the participating institutes) including IIMC entrance.

No, IIMC considers CUET-PG scores for admissions. Once you pass the entrance test, the further rounds of the selection process like interviews and counselling are conducted by IIMC. Unless, you wish to apply for PG Diploma in Journalism in Odia, Marathi, Urdu or Malayalam. For these courses IIMC conducts their own entrance exam. You can check out their website for more.

Yes, at IIMC they exclusively offer postgraduate courses. It is one of the most popular and sought-after institutes for mass media higher education. It's an autonomous society under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Students from across the country and abroad apply for their entrance in great numbers. Yes, reserved category candidates get relaxation on the IIMC Entrance Exam application fee for PG Diploma courses. For most courses the application fee of CUET PG exam is applicable. While for PG Diploma courses in regional languages the application fee is decided by IIMC. OBC and EWS applicants have to pay INR 600. SC, ST and third gender candidates have to pay INR 550 while PwD candidates have to pay INR 500.

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) conducts the IIMC Entrance Exam, which is a computer-based test and is conducted on behalf of the National Testing Agency (NTA) along with the CUET (PG). Indian nationals possessing a bachelor's degree by a recognised university are eligible to apply. Students who had appeared/ are appearing for final year examination of their bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply. Yes, candidates need to qualify CUET-PG for admission to IIMC Delhi courses. However, aspirants must also have a bachelor's degree to be admitted to IIMC Delhi PG courses. Only passing Class 12 won't ensure admission to IIMC Delhi courses. The institute verifies the eligibility of the candidates for admission.

Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Amravati accepts IIMC entrance test scores for admission to PG Diploma courses. As per the IIMC 2024 cutoff for Round 3, the closing ranks for Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism (Hindi) was 728 for the General AI category candidates. For PG Diploma in English Journalism, the seats were filled with the release of Round 2 cutoff (610). So, considering the latest round cutoff, candidates seeking admission to IIMC Amravati must secure a rank upto 728 to be eligible for PGDM admission.
