Preparing IIMC Entrance Exam you just need to aim on few things but prepare them with full concentration. For advertising and PR you just need to focus upon the preparation of - english communication, history (printing press/ communication - mainly of India and little of world too), introduction of advertising concept (like first person to introduce ads. , First advertisement, the latest trends in advertisement, types of ads. , Some popular ads. , Their tagline/ punchline etc. ), names of PR agency, their role etc. , current affairs, general knowledge, recent popular punchline of ads. PG Diploma in journalism from a reputed institute like IIMC, Symbiosis, Xavier's, etc. can get you a job in a TV news channel. Work either in the news desk or as a reporter for a while. Once you know people in the channel, you can express interest in anchoring. Practice anchoring and give a screen test.
