Admission to IISER Bhopal is based on the candidate's performance in either of the three channels: SCB, KVPY, or IIT-JEE. For admission through the SCB channel, candidates need to appear for the IISER Aptitude Test conducted by the institute and meet the minimum eligibility criteria, including a minimum of 60% marks in Class 12 or equivalent. The eligibility criteria for admission to the five-year BS-MS Dual Degree programme at IISER Bhopal includes a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. Candidates who have appeared for the Class 12 board exams and are awaiting their results are also eligible to apply. However, they must provide proof of having passed the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
