Both IISER and IISC have their own rankings and both are one of the best institutes of India. You cannot compare both of them as both have their own achievements and qualities.

According to your aggregate percentage in Mathematics hons. It is very difficult for you to get admission in IISER, as you are not eligible for admission in IISER. So try for another option. All the best.

Depends on your choice of branches. If you're looking for the Pure Sciences, then no. None of the IISERs mandatorily requires a math background for BS-MS admissions. However, if you are applying for the Engineering Science (EECS and Chem. Engineering) and the Economics programme at IISER Bhopal, then you are required to have a math background in 11th and 12th. Also, as a previous answer pointed out, the Aptitude Test has 25% questions from Mathematics. So if you are a non-math student, you would be well-advised to maybe spend the last couple of months going over a few basics from the 11th and 12th NCERT textbooks, so as to b

All candidates who have cleared Class XII exams in Science stream in 2017/ 2018 fulfill IISER Entrance Exam 2018 eligibility criteria. However, candidates should also score marks (in their respective boards) equal or above the cutoff percentage as stipulated by IISER (mentioned in the table below) in order to meet IISER Entrance Exam eligibility criteria. https://www.shiksha.com/science/exams/iiser-entrance-exam.
