No, IIT Dhanbad BTech admission is strictly entrance based. Admission to IIT Dhanbad BTech is allotted on the basis of candidates' performance in JEE Main exam, candidates who qualify IIT Dhabad JEE Main cutoff are then required to appear for JEE Advance followed by  the counselling round conducted by JoSAA.
