To decide which is a better choice of BTech, students must weigh both options based on various parameters such as placement, ranking, fees, and more. As per the NIRF ranking, IIT Bhilai has been ranked in the 73rd position, while IIT Dharwad was ranked in the 101-150 position. Moreover, as per the 2023 placement records, the highest package offered at IIT Dharwad stood at INR 18.53 LPA, which was less in IIT Bhilai, i.e, INR 14 LPA. Lastly, as per official sources, the tuition fees charged by both institutes are the same, i.e., INR 8 lakh. Thus, IIT Dharwad and IIT Bhilai are fine choices.
