The modes of IIT Gandhinagar admissions are online and offline. Admission to various postgraduate and undergraduate courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are GATE, JEE Main, and JEE Advanced. Candidates must study GATE exam pattern, keep an eye on GATE exam date and GATE result. At the undergraduate level, the college offers four-year BTech courses to students in seven specialisations. Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) has not released the placement Statistics for the 2023. However, as per the latest placement report for 2022, IIT Gandhinagar has concluded its B.Tech placements for the 2022 passing out batch. The highest and average package offered during 2022 placement drive was INR 62 LPA and INR 15.35 LPA, respectively. Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) has recorded 92% placements for the B.Tech batch passing out in the year 2022.

IIT Gandhinagar was established in 2008 and is ranked 23 by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2022 for Engineering. Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) offers undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph.D. and various online courses to students. These undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. courses are provided across Chemical Engineering, Physics Maths and various other streams. Since its establishment in 2008, the college has gained popularity among the masses as the placements and training are great over here.

No, admission to BTech is not possible without clearing JEE Advanced exam at IIT Gandhinagar. So those candidates who are aspiring to get admission at IIT Gandhinagar for Engineering courses must prepare well in advance as the competition is high and seats are limited. So apply early as admissions are currently open for admission to various courses.

The application process for a few popular programmes is completely online. So work experience is not required for admission to most of the courses. No, a hostel is not compulsory at IIT Gandhinagar for M.Tech students. However, the college's hostel is very good. Currently, the college has eight hostels. The campus hostels are air-conditioned and have well-furnished rooms. The academic area is just a short distance from the hostels. The student hostels are largely Wi-Fi enabled.

The basic eligibility criteria to apply for M.Sc in Mathematics is Class 12 with a minimum aggregate set by the college and the accepted entrance exam is IIT JAM. MSc degree is offered in various specialisations like Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Cognitive Science. Application to MSc courses at IIT Gandhinagar usually begins in December. The application fee for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates is INR 150 and for all other categories, it is INR 300.
