Hello Jay,
IIT Gandhinagar is good. It was established in 2008 and is developing fast to become one of the top IITs. Though now, it doesn't come in top IITs, but surely it will. If you are getting admission here or planning to get, it's a good institute.
Good luck.

Hello, to secure admission in either IIT Gandhinagar, or DAIICT, you have to give two different exams. For DAIICT you need to appear for GUJCET if you are a resident of Gujarat or you have to appear for JEE Mains in order to secure admission through All India Quota. To secure admission in IIT, Gandhinagar, you need to clear JEE Mains cut-off score and then get a decent rank in JEE Advanced. Hope this helps.! All the best!

In my opinion, DAIICT is equivalent and better than IIT, Gandhinagar reason being that IIT, Gandhinagar is a new IIT, so it is not that recognized. DAIICT is well recognized as compared to IIT, Gandhinagar. It totally depends on you what you opt for. Go through the course details of both the colleges, interact with some of the seniors who have attended the college, you will gain a better insight of the academic scenario of the colleges. All the Best!

Hi!
NIRF Ranking : IITGN 30 NITH 51
ESTD. : IITGN 2008 NITH 2002, 1986(REC)
In my opinion if somebody has an option of joining either IITGN or NITH, Then it is wise to go for IITGN.
Quality of education imparted in both the institutions are are of great value.
In terms of funds granted, IITs receive a far more than what NITs get. The quality of cultural and technical festivals conducted is somewhat better in IITGN compared to NIT Hamirpur.
Needless to say the brand value of an IIT is itself enough to take a step to join the institution. There is a joint course offered by CALTECH and IITGN on disruptive design on Indian Healthcare. This it

Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, inaugurated in 1961, Surat was one of the 17 Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) that were established as a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat. In 2002, it was elevated to the status of an NIT, and thus is now termed an institute of national importance. Just like almost everything else in the state of Gujarat, SVNIT Surat has also come up really quickly and is constantly rising up the ranks. Quality and method of teaching is good. Method of teaching is not that much good because all the professors have a degree of PhD but not B.Ed degree. Ove
